 “Behold your father-in-law has come to Timnah, íÖ³£ÖòÐô̳í'ÓñÒ¼C−§ÌôÖìí'ÑpÌí  and he was succeeded as king by Chusham ó£ÖLŠìî− flÖzÐìÔzC¤GÐôÌiÔî

 which is on the road to Timnah. íÖ³¢ÖòÐôÌzCÓþ¤Óc-ñÔ¼þ£ÓLÎê  and the name of his city was Avis. :³−ÞÌîμB£þ−̼ó'ÑLÐî
 For she saw that Sheilah had come of age í flÖñÑLñ¤ÔðÖè-−ÞÌk·íÖ³ÎêÞÖþ−¥Ìk  36. Hadad died, ð¢ÖðÎí³Öô£ÖiÔî .îñ

              Because it [Botzroh] provided a king for Edom  ,óBðÍêÓñCÓñÓôíÖð−ÌôͼÓíÓL−ÌõÐñe
 which was on the way to Timnah.  .íÖ³ÖòÐôÌzCÓþÓcñÔ¼ÓL
              it is destined to be smitten together with them,  ,óÓíÖn̼ ³BšÐñÌñíÖð−̳μ
 Our Sages explain it midrashically.  :eLÐþÖð eò−ѳBaÔþÐî  as it is said:  :þÔôÍêÓpÓL
 At the entrance [of the house] of our father Avraham,  ,eò−ÌëÖêóÖíÖþÐëÔêñÓLBìгÌõÐa
              “For there is a slaughter to God in Botzroh.” 214  :íÖþЮÖëÐa ’íÔñìÔëÓï−Ìk
 whom all eyes longed to see.  :B³BêÐþÌñ ³BtÔ®ÐôóÌ−Ôò−ѼñÖkÓL
         [35] Who attacked Midian in the field of Moav.  .áÈàBî äÅãÀNÄaïÈéÀãÄî-úÆàäÆkÇnÇä [äì]

                       For Midian came to war on Moav  ,íÖôÖìÐñÌnÔñëÖêBô ñÔ¼öÖ−ÐðÌôeêÖaÓL
 That was why she offered herself to Yehudah,  ,íÖðeíÐ−ñÓ®ÑêdÖôЮԼíÖþ−ÌšÐõÌíCÖ×−ÌõÐñ
                 and the king of Edom went to help Moav.  ;ëÖêBô ³Óê þBïμÔñ óBðÍêCÓñÓôCÔñÖíÐî
 for she desired to have children by him.  :ó−ÌòÖëepÓ nÌôð−ÌôμÔíÐñíÖeÔêгÌôíÖ³Ð−ÖíÓL

        that Midian and Moav were in conflict with each other  ,íÓïó̼íÓïó−Ìë−ÌþÐôëÖêBôe öÖ−ÐðÌôe−ÖíÓL
 Because she was sitting at the crossroads.  :ó−Ì×ÖþÐc³ÔLÖþÖõÌa³ÓëÓLBiÓL−ÌõÐñ
                  and in the day of Bilam they made peace  óBñÖLeNÖ¼óÖ¼ÐñÌë−Ñô−Ìëe
                   in order to band together against Israel.  :ñÑêÖþÐNÌ−ñÔ¼þÑMԚгÌíÐñ
