6) Check that the primer is in and locked.

If the engine cannot be restarted, then we must admit that we must make an

emergency landing!

6.4.6.2 Emergency landing

Executing an emergency landing:

1) Proceed towards the selected

place/area for an emergency

landing.

2) Make an emergency call, MAYDAY.

3) Possibly SQUAWK 7700, if you do

not have a specified code set in

advance.
4) Brief passengers about fastening

their seat belts and about

evacuating and opening the doors ajar before landing.

5) Turn off the fuel and magnets OFF

6) When you no longer need electrical power, turn it off.

7) Land into the wind at the lowest safe speed.

8) Activate the ELT if necessary.

After landing:

1) The commander must take care of passengers and keep any curious people

away from the aircraft.

2) Call for help from Fire and Rescue if a MAYDAY has not been sent.

3) Save the aircraft's documents.

4) Contact the Accident Investigation Board.

5) Refrain from commenting until the situation is calm. When the police arrive,

they will take over command.
