Operational procedures
The emergency transmitter must be located so that it easily is reached and
activated in the event of an accident.
You will be found quickly if you activate your ELT (Emergency Location
Transmitter).

6.6.3 Fire and smoke
When we talk about fire and flames in our small private aircraft, we are mainly
talking about a fire in the carburetor. This fire can spread and include a fire in
the engine and, in the worst case, the entire machine.
So timely care also pays off in this situation.
In fire engineering, it is said that there must be 3
things for a fire to occur:
- Oxygen
- Fuel
- Heat
