Pelaksaanaan  inovasi  ini  dijangkakan  dapat  membantu  pelajar  meningkatkan  lagi  kemahiran  membaca  al-Quran
               dengan betul dan bertajwid seterusnya menjadi bahan bantu mengajar khususnya bagi guru-guru pendidikan Islam
               samada di peringkat sekolah rendah, menengah mahupun di peringkat pendidikan tinggi. Kid Tajwid berpotensi untuk
               disebarluaskan lagi sebagai bahan bantu mengajar lebih-lebih lagi dalam mendepani cabaran pandemik Covid-19
               kerana ianya mengintegrasikan teknologi dalam pengajaran dan pembelajaran.

                 THE USE OF FOE4.0 APPS IN TEACHING VOCABULARY AND SPEAKING SKILLS AMONG PUPILS IN SMK

               This action research reports on the results of a small-scale survey on the use of English for daily communication and
               also  as  medium  of  instruction  in  one  of  the  schools  in  Petaling  Utama  district.  Thirty-two  pupils  and  an  English
               Language teacher were involved in this study. The objective of this research is to find out the effectiveness of using
               Friends  Of  English  4.0  or  known  as  “FOE4.0”  apps  as  a  tool  to  encourage  communication  in  English  Language
               among pupils in Form 4 Arif Academic session 2020.The FOE4.0 project was carried out from February 2020 until
               August  2020.  Data  was  collected  using  a  pre-test  and  a  post-test.  The  researcher  uses  the  Speaking  Skill
               assessment descriptor for CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference), to evaluate the pupils’ speaking skill
               before and after FOE4.0 apps was used. The research findings show that pupils’ speaking proficiency has improved
               from  merely  able  to  utter  basic  phrases  about  themselves  and  respond  to  basic  familiar  questions  in  simple
               statement, to having confidence in talking and giving explanation about a topic discussed. Besides, the classroom
               situation was also livelier due to the pupils’ eagerness in joining the activities. Out of 32 pupils, a total of 20 pupils
               displayed their ability to use this apps and its functions. FOE4.0 apps also promote 21st century learning (PAK21)
               elements as a basic platform towards achieving IR4.0 vision, especially promotes collaborative and creative learning
               process. This study is an invaluable and an inspiring experience where it has motivated the researcher to explore
               more on blended learning tools. It is hoped that FOE4.0 apps research can be implemented by other researchers to
               have a better insight in the ways of motivating and boosting pupils’ interest to speak in English.
