      Chain restaurants are those that are linked in some way.
Chains menu items range from pizza to steaks and from
hamburgers to sea food. Some offer table service, others only
counter service.

      Furthermore, multiunit restaurant could be categorized
into five segments:

   1- Quick service restaurants: characterized by its low
   price, speed and time saving , consistency , focus on narrow
   or single menu item and self – service for examples
   Macdonald's , K.F.C , Burger king and Hardee's
   2- Midscale restaurants: have menu mix and choice,
   consider value , offer comfort table and counter service for
   examples Denny's and Friendly's
   3- Moderate upscale restaurants: fashion statement using
   fashion and trendy items with seasonal changes, high
   concept and décor ambience. for examples T.G.I. Friday's ,
   Olive Garden and Chili's
   4- Up scale restaurants: characterized by style, ambience,
   five service and dining experience offer high food quality,
