couple became divorced because the Somuncus had thrown the
man out of work, or three-month-old children had to be put into
care. No court proceedings were opened over a worker’s wife de-
veloping cancer and it was impossible to pay for treatment. Be-
cause the laws of this system do not hold what the Somuncus and
those like them do to be crimes. But it is a crime to seek your
rights and to want justice.
We know that this is not the first such verdict, nor will it be
the last. It I also not a uniquely wrong verdict given by a judge. It
is proof of this system’s involvement in class conflict. There is no
justice for anyone. This verdict is simply one more proof of that.
The court decision once again proved that it was necessary
for the struggle to be based on legitimacy. Legitimacy is the basis
of our rightfulness. It is our struggle. And this is our strength.
We revolutionaries know that with the strength we get from
our legitimacy, we will struggle until we gain our rights and our
people live their days under socialism.

The resisting Kazova workers are continuing to create new
links with their resistance. Within resistance they learn and teach.
Every kind of obstacle was placed in their way, from machines
made into scrap metal, to bailiffs. The Somuncu family, owners
of the machines, put forward every obstacle. As if they had not ex-
ploited the workers enough they subjected them to attacks and
every kind of difficulty. But under these attacks the resisting Ka-
