mean? There is no unity and togetherness, out of fear and lack of
consciousness they do not greet us. The boss says something and
brings my employment to an end? That will be something totally
different if we win here. It will be something else if we go from
here without winning. We are getting ready. We are holding a fash-

ion show on the 29th of this month. We will organise the fashion
show. We will announce it to all our people. All Turkey needs to
listen.

Y: Is there anything else you want to say?

Yasar Gulay: We will win by resisting. There is nothing else.

KAYA DONMEZ

What happened when the period of resistance started?

Kaya Donmez: We had been sent on leave without pay and
when we returned we found the workplace locked up. Later the
workplace lawyer came to us and said there was a solution available
by giving us vouchers and we were waiting for money from the
workplace. He said we would not be paid and removed us from
the garden of the workplace. The media and the police were pres-
ent at that point, outside. The police wanted the media to depart.
