weeks of struggle the machines were brought back into a usable
condition.

At present two of the weaving machines in the factory are
working. Henceforth the workers will be able to produce. And
they will continue to produce in the resistance until they get what

is theirs.

A celebration was held on 31 August 2013 to mark the Kazova
textile workers getting machines working again. About 100 people
came to the concert, which was a mini concert by Grup Yorum
and showed they were on the side of the workers. A sound system
installed in the factory allowed people outside to hear the noise
of the machines as they were working. Bulent Unal spoke in the

name of the resisting workers, stressing again that they would resist
until they won, and he thanked everyone who supported and was
on the side of their resistance, in particular the DIH.

At the end of the event Turkan Albayrak spoke in the name
of the DIH, stressed once again that they would be on the side of
resisting workers and the Kazova workers, and she evaluated the
point that had been reached by the Kazova resistance.

Then friends from the Abbasaga, Kocamustafapasa, Tatavla,

Sisli Centre and Ferikoy forums who participated and supported
the resistance made speeches noting that the Kazova resistance
was an important point in the struggle of the workers and they
said they would be on the side of the Kazova workers to the end.
