Meat Loaf--Barbeque Style

                 Amount  Measure       Ingredient -- Preparation Method

                 1 1/2             lb  ground beef, 4% fat
                 1/2                c  bread crumbs -- fresh
                 1                     onion -- finely chopped
                 1                     egg -- beaten
                 1 1/2            tsp  salt
                 2               cans  tomato sauce
                 1/4              tsp  pepper
                 1/2                c  water
                 3               tbsp  vinegar
                 3               tbsp  brown sugar
                 2               tbsp  mustard
                 2                tsp  Worcestershire sauce

               Mix together beef, crumbs, onion, egg, salt, pepper and 1/2 can tomato
               sauce. Form into loaf, and put in shallow pan, about 7 x 10 inches.
               Combine the rest of the tomato sauce and all other ingredients.  Pour over
               loaf. Bake in moderate oven (350 degrees) 1 hour and 15 minutes. Baste
               occasionally.
