Menger Roast

                 1                     chuck roast
                 1                pkg  onion soup mix
                 1/2                c  water or red wine

               Put chuck roast in pan, sprinkle on top the dry onion soup mix.  Add water
               around roast.   Put on lid and roast in 350 degree oven for 3 hours.

               Remove meat, use ice cubes to solidify grease, remove.  Make gravy from
               drippings.  If not enough use beef broth to increase.

               Delicious!
