Margarita Fruit Dip

2 pkg cream cheese -- 8 oz.
1/2 c sugar
5 tbsp frozen margarita mix -- defrosted
1/2 c tequila
1 tbsp lime juice
In a small mixing bowl beat cream cheese and sugar until light and fluffy.
Scrape down the sides and add margarita mix, tequila and lime juice. Mix
on low speed until blended and then on medium speed until smooth.
Refrigerate for at LEAST 2 hours before serving.

NOTES : I got this recipe off Prodigy a long time ago. I have
made it many times and everyone likes it. It was posted
by Mickey Malanowski. She suggested that you use a
sombrero and place it on a platter. Then punch down the
top and put the bowl of dip into the indentation. Line
the brim with plastic wrap and arrange fruit in the brim,
garnished with sprigs of mint. Suggestions for fruit, in
connection with a Mexican theme, could be watermelon,
cantaloupe, grapes, papayas, mangoes, strawberries,
pineapple, kiwis, bananas, etc.
This is really a refreshing dip. I can eat it with a
spoon. I usually double the recipe, then you can use the
whole can of margarita mix. It keeps pretty well, though
it has never lasted long around me! --ch
