               -------- ------------ --------------------------------
1 can cream of mushroom soup
                 1 tbsp gelatin
1 pkg nonfat cream cheese -- 8 oz
                 1 c low-fat mayonnaise
                 1 c celery -- chopped fine
1 green onion -- chopped fine
                 1 can crabmeat -- 7 oz

Heat soup. Mix dissolved gelatin in. Cool slightly. In a separate bowl,
blend cheese with mayonnaise. Combine all ingredients. Pour into 6-cup
mold and chill until firm. Serves 6 to 8.

Can use 1 can small shrimp with 1 can cream of tomato soup for a
               variation.

               Serve with crackers.

Found a recipe for Creamy Chicken Salad that called for a 10 oz can of
white chicken meat, instead of the crab meat. Should be good. Also
called for 1/2 cup of green onion (I always put in more than 1 green
onion. One time I put in 1 cup of green onion, and it was still good!)

NOTES : I got this recipe from "Triumph Cooking" a cookbook from
Church of the Crossroads. I have made it many times. It is
                       one of our favorites. –ch
