“Thanks, Dad. How was your trip?”
“Well, I’m glad to be here safe and sound.” Reaches for his luggage. “How were
your classes, Sweetheart?”
“It hasn’t been bed of roses, but I’m hitting the books and making good grades,
Dad.” Assisting with the last luggage, “like you say ... There’s always room for
improvement.”
“Fabulous, Sweetheart. We’re all rooting for you,” while rolling two of the
luggage behind him.
“Thanks, Dad.” She steadies the third luggage and lifts the trunk.
Inside the parked Jeep.
June -- sitting in the right rear -- exchanges brief and positive pleasantries
with Alonzo as he climbs in.
“Hello, June --"

“Could be better. How about you?”
Yvette cranks the ignition, puts the gear into drive, looks to her left and rear,
and safely pulls out; then heads to June’s residence.
