A few minutes later, his smartphone buzzes again, and the EMAIL MESSAGE
reads:
INSERT – THE EMAIL MESSAGE, which reads:
"GREAT! I LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU TOMORROW
AT 11 AM, TOO.
-- DEBRA CARTER.”
He grins and exclaims, "Hallelujah! Glory be to Thee, Jah Jehovah." He looks
around, cranks the ignition, the Jeep ROARS soundly, and an upbeat R&B song PLAYS
on the radio. He nods his head to the beat, pulls the gear in reverse, pulls out of the
parking lot, and makes a left turn -- heading in the opposite direction -- toward the
Storage facility.
Later -- on the second floor of the Storage Facility -- he unlocks his stall,
reaches and retrieves one of his garment suit covers, and picks a pale blue shirt and
the same pair of black shoes from yesterday. He locks the stall and heads for the
elevator. Downstairs and inside his Jeep, he makes a hotel reservation -- using the
App on his smartphone. After receiving his room confirmation, he cranks the ignition,
slowly exists the Storage lot, makes a left and an immediate right towards I-85. Soon,
he takes the ramp on to the Interstate -- traveling south on I-85. Twenty-seven
minutes -- inclusive of traffic -- he arrives at the 1900 Block of Rock Mill Road in
Alpharetta, GA. He parks, steps down with his black leather laptop briefcase in hand,
opens the back door, and retrieves the garment cover containing both his suit and
shirt. And he walks into the hotel Lobby.
