a.  The New Contact window will automatically display Contact Type: Phone.
                              Select the Phone Type and enter Phone Number. Select Text Message from
                              the Apt. Reminders dropdown options. If the phone number listed is for someone
                              other than the patient, write their name in the Additional Info box. Click Ok to
                              save.
                                i.   You are able to enter multiple phone numbers, just make sure to indicate
                                     which number belongs to whom.
                                ii.   If you are provided a Home or Answering Service phone number, ask the
                                     patient if they would like to receive Voice Call or email appointment
                                     reminders.


















                          b.  Ask the patient, “What is the best email address for you?” Inform them that
                              they will receive a welcome email ~4 days prior to their first appointment that will
                              include information regarding what to expect for their appointment and a link to
                              the New Patient Form that can be completed online beforehand.
                                i.   To enter a patient’s email information, click Add Contact, change the
                                     Contact Type to Email, and type in their email address. Read the
                                     address back to the patient to confirm it is accurate in order for the patient
                                     to receive Reach emails. Click Ok to save.
