Lecture Question Answer Series

The Lecture, Question and
Answer (LQA) Series was held
on a monthly basis with a view
to building awareness and
generating dialogue on a
variety of subjects under the
o v e r a r c h i n g t h e m e o f
International Studies.

The LQA series gathered
momentum in the 2018 with a
variety of topics, Building
Cooperation and Peace in
South Asia, Memories of the
Struggle, Statelessness,
Breaking the Glass Ceiling and
Marine Pollution and its
impact on Sri Lanka.

Special LQAs were organized
in collaboration with the High
C o m m i s s i o n o f S o u t h
Africa in Sri Lanka which
focused on the Anti-Apartheid
Struggle, while the BCIS
collaborated with the United
Nations High Commissioner
for Refugees in Sri Lanka to
l o o k a t t h e i s s u e o f
Statelessness.

These sessions drew an
enthusiastic audience that
engaged in discussion and
debate.
