International Relations Convocation 2018

The Convocation of the International
Relations programmes of the Bandaranaike
Centre for International Studies (BCIS) was
held under the patronage of the Hon. Ranil
Wickremesinghe, M.P., Prime Minister of
the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri
Lanka on Thursday, 22ⁿ March 2018 at the
Hall of the BMICH. The Convocation was
graced by the Chairperson of the S. W. R. D.
Bandaranaike National Memorial
Foundation and former President Madam
Chandrika Bandaranaike Kumaratunga.

Students of the Postgraduate Diploma,
Higher Diploma, Diploma and Certi icate in
International Relations programmes, and
D i p l o m a i n H u m a n R i g h t s a n d
International Trade received their
certi icates at this important event in the
academic calendar of the BCIS.

The Seminar Publication on Blue Economy:
Prospects and Challenges for Sri Lanka was
also launched at the Convocation with the
irst copies handed over to the Hon. Prime
Minister and Madam Kumaratunga.
