Scope of Work Criterion 5
Construc.on
SECTION 4. General Qualifica-ons:
1. Pricing excludes Florida Building Code requirement for both the normal and emergency feeders to an ATS
serving the firefighters elevator equipment and Life Safety Equipment to be 2 hour rated. It is assumed
this requirement will be met via 2 hour rooms, 2 hour chases, concrete encasement, etc. that will be pro-
vided by the GC if required.
2. This proposed general scope of work as a part of the es.mate poten.ally involves either coordinated shut-
down (to be performed by the owner or others) or work that can only be performed with the electrical
system energized (as determined by NFPA 70e), Tri-City Electrical Contractors will require from the Owner
and General Contractor the necessary permits, risk analysis, indemnity agreement, release, and a scope/
responsibili.es matrix associated for such work.
3. The current environment as it relates to commodity and material pricing has been extremely vola.le and
most of our suppliers have put Tri-City on no.ce of both price changes and/or the inability of the supplier
to guarantee pricing in the current environment. As such, prices for quoted materials and commodi.es are
not able to be guaranteed at the .me of our proposal to you and Tri-City is only able to guarantee material
prices quoted in our proposal upon receipt of a leGer of award that authorizes Tri-City to order materials
for the project. Un.l such .me that we receive said authoriza.on, commodity and material prices are sub-
ject to market fluctua.on. We appreciate your understanding in these unique .mes and please know that
Tri-City is con.nually looking at all op.ons available to mi.gate the vola.lity the market is experiencing.
4. This proposal is based on the following square footage: 170,960.
5. The work will be performed during normal working hours. No provisions have been included for over.me,
mul.ple shiHs, weekend or holiday work.
6. Tri-City guarantees its work to be free from defects for one year from beneficial occupancy by the owner,
or final comple.on, whichever comes first. Repairs to defec.ve workmanship and/or materials within this
period will be made at no cost to the owner. This warranty excludes lamps, items furnished by others, un-
authorized service or negligent care.
7. Adequate on-site employee parking, dumpster, sanitary facili.es, potable water and an area for storage &
office trailers. No provisions have been included in this proposal for offsite parking or storage. Tri-City Electrical Contractor, Inc. | Electrical Proposal

mutually agreed upon construc.on schedule, Tri-City will rely upon the work of other trades to be com-
pleted in a .mely manner, prior to our follow-on work.
