              he  latest  Faculty  of  Medicine       linking both clinical and laboratory teams
              Research  Carnival  was  held  from     to  help  find  treatment  solutions  for
        Tthe 25th to the 29th of November             childhood cancers.
        2019.  To  highlight  the  theme  “The
        Science  of  Medicine:  Wearing  2  Coats”,   Symposia, workshops, clinics and forums
        Professor Emeritus Dr. Alan Mackay-Sim,       were  conducted  throughout  the  week-
        internationally  acclaimed  neuroscientist    long  event  covering  human  and  animal
        from Griffith University, Australia, shared   ethics,  human  and  animal  magnetic
        his  experience  in  leading  the  world’s    resonance imaging (MRI), responsibility-
        first Phase 1 clinical trial using olfactory   compliant  research,  and  broadcasting
        ensheathing  cells  in  spinal  cord  injury   one’s  research  and  perspectives  on
        during  his  keynote  address.  This  was     social media, all with the ultimate aim of
