Dealer Search

The name of the dealership the customer is currently having their vehicle serviced or
purchased will populate. If the customer is not working with a dealer, you may leave
this field blank.
 To select the involved dealer

 Click the single select button in the
“Involved Dealer” field:

 The Dealer DBA pick box populates
 The “Find field” contains a number of ways to search
o It’s best to search by the DBA (Doing Business As) name or Business this
will assist with identifying the correct dealership.

 It is extremely important to select the correct dealer in
Siebel!

 Siebel reports are used both inside and outside of
CARS;
 Dealership’s performance rating may be negatively
impacted when the dealership is incorrectly tied to
Siebel cases.
 REMINDER: There are many dealerships with similar
names.
 Use the dealer lookup tool in GM Answers to help you
determine the DBA and/or BAC for the correct
dealership, Reference “Dealer Look UP Tools”, in GM
Answers
 If there are multiple matches, validate the dealership’s
address (street, city, and state) and phone number.
