Lockport to Brockport
st
The town of Lockport offers many lodging options and is a favorite 1
night for many cyclists. Great restaurants and stores to restock supplies
are close by. Lockport is also Niagara Wine Country so building in an ex-
tra night in this area would allow you to treat yourself to cycling the re-
markably scenic roads to many of the outstanding wineries, several of
which are on the nearby shore of
beautiful Lake Ontario, also an
easy ride.
Continuing on your journey you
will find the small villages of Me-
dina and Albion quite welcoming, with many great places for
lunch, cool things to see, and limited but lovely lodging.
Before reaching Brock-
port, there is one more
treat in store and that is Holley Falls (right). This beautiful wa-
terfall and park are about ¾ of a mile from the trail but well
worth a stop, so check your cue sheet or fire up google maps
to get you there.
In quaint Brockport cyclists can find everything they need, din-
ing, lodging, shopping and a great welcome center with hot
showers, laundry, charging outlets and free camping, all only a
few feet from the trail!
