Chapter 6 : Corruption in the “Carbon World”

When believers say the “science is settled”, don’t believe a word of it. The “science” could be
legitimately argued as right, partly right, wrong or totally corrupt but never “settled”. So when
people lie or spin on this topic, doesn’t that tell you something? ONE THING FOR CERTAIN IS
THAT IT IS NOT SETTLED.

PRINCIPLE
One thing is certain and that is the "science" of "global warming" is certainly not "settled"

2.3 Promoting a Really Scary Story

Believers, following Albert Arnold Gore , Jr’s lead, including some UK government departments,
present the most scary interpretation of global warming, with forecasted sea level rises that will

swamp Manhattan or London , uncontrolled epidemics of malaria and other vector‐borne
diseases, earthquakes, hurricanes and other disasters, few of which are supported by reason or
scientific research. Everything bad that happens can be put down to “climate change”, including
Lee Westwood missing a fairway. Anything bad that happens is caused by “Global warming:
innit?”

Mark Twain said “I have suffered many catastrophes in my life: most did not happen”
Stephen Schneider, an ex‐biology professor at Stanford University and in the 1970s a leader of the movement to
prevent global cooling (but now even more emotionally committed to global warming) has stated "each of us (in
climate science) has to decide what is the right balance between being effective and being honest". In an
interview in October 1989 with” Discover” magazine he said "we have to offer up scary scenarios".

The truth is that some people are not happy unless they make themselves and others unhappy
and politicians need a disaster to prove that they are “doing something” have “initiative” or
more usually that they can raise taxes. For that reason, global warming is great.

A US‐based environmental magazine stated that "when we’ve finally gotten serious about Global Warming,
when the impacts are really hitting us and we are in a full worldwide scramble to minimise the damage, we should
have war crimes trials of these bastards‐some sort of climate Nuremberg"

In 2008, James Hansen of NASA's Goddard Institute for Space Studies, who is to “Global Warming” what Colonel
Sanders was to Kentucky Fried Chicken, called for trials of climate sceptics for "high crimes against humanity". He
also urged the closing down of coal fired power stations calling them “factories of death” and the trains supplying
them “death trains”. This is a nauseating echo of Nazi death camps and shows just how extreme “alarmists’”
arguments are becoming and how determined they are to suppress dissent.

15 Politicians like to be referred to by a “palsy walsy” shortening of their name in “frames” that make them appear
human. An alternative framing based on their birth names is used throughout this book.
