7 SUBCONTRACTOR STAFFING

The extensive size and scope of the various subcontracted elements of a Mega Project require
significant on-site staffing considerations by all contract partners. Similar to various dedicated on-
site staffing resources needed by the controlling contractor the following should be considered:
◆ Project Management

◆ Field Leadership
◆ Safety
◆ Quality
The appropriate number of resources required to manage the contract partners scope of
work will be dependent on size and complexity of the work. At a minimum, contract language
should specify the number of dedicated safety resources based on total manpower.
