of communication technology, a person is required to act with the
values or social norms to prevail in the community. As a communicator/
communicant, someone must pay attention to give verbal or nonverbal
reactions with ethical or moral in using media. An important part of applying
the principles of religious ethics in this communication is the fulfilment of
prophetic duties (prophetic ethics). Prophetic is the social consciousness
of the Prophets in history to elevate humanity (humanization), to liberate
humans (liberation) and to bring people faith in God (transcendence).
In short, prophetic science is the science that tries to imitate the social
responsibility of the Prophets (Kuntowijoyo 2007).
Based on the statement, prophetic communication behavior is a
representation of communication behavior as exemplified by the prophet
in carrying out his prophetic duties which make a guiding to communicate
messages. In other words, the principles of religious ethics as illustrated by
the Prophet in Qur>an should guide in the process of communication. A
package of messages implied by the term «qaul» in verses (Qur’an) would
be very essential in communication. It shows that how a message arranged
in the way touches the heart of the community: <Qaulan sadiidan> to
communicate correctly, <qaulan baliighan> to communicate effectively,
<qaulan masyuran> to communicate without tendency, <qaulan layyinan>
to communicate by using appropriate choice word or diction, <qaulan
kariiman> to communicate according to education level, economy, and
social strata, <qaulan ma>ruufan> to communicate with the code of ethics
and not to provoke (Ma’arif 2010; Mubarok & Adnjani 2010; Syahputra
2017).
For that reason, whatever medium and whoever conveys in
communication behavior, the most important is a presence of ethical
awareness in observing, organizing, and sending of messages as mental
effort when someone combines information with his previous basic
knowledge. One of these is how this communication behavior oriented
towards humanization, liberation, and transcendence values that Syahputra
(2017) refers to as prophetic communication.
This study highlights the discussion of a person in social interaction
using verbal and non-verbal symbols that are limited to ethical and
moral values in elevating humanity as a model of humanzation-prophetic
communication behavior in electronic communication media. According
to Pambayun (2012) and Syahputra (2007; 2017), the researcher restricts
this communication behavior revealed by conveying the message with
appropriate words (al-Isra: 28), being polite and courteous (al-Isra: 23;
Luqman: 15), being cheer and careful in using slang (HR Bukhari and
Muslim), avoiding obscene words (al-An>aam: 115), responding to
