          ⇒   In designing the policy projects in Ethiopia, one key factor that contributed to the success

              is working with Government, private sector and civil society through the “Private Sector
              Development Task Force’’ under the Donor and Government coordination platform called

              Rural Economic Development and Food Security Working Group (RED-FS). This approach

              helped in validating the importance of the policy problem, the findings and recommen-

              dation of the policy studies.

          ⇒   Seed Safety a joint work of AGRA and BMGF, is one of the notable works completed in cre-

              ating enabling environment for private and public actors engaged in seed sector


          ⇒   AGRA country office worked with Ethiopian Seed Association (ESA) in identifying seed re-

              lated policy constraints towards creating a vibrant and competitive private seed sector in

              Ethiopia. The association contributed to the development of the new seed policy
