An important thing that you must remember is you should never skip
                any meal. Some people have this habit of skipping meals altogether

                or having tea and biscuits/ bun instead of eating a balanced diet.
                Skipping meals slows down your metabolism. When your
                metabolism slows down, all your bodily functions slow down and you
                have less energy to do your work. Food is the only thing that gives
                you energy and without proper nutrition you cannot study. Without
                proper food, your capabilities or stamina will decrease and you will
                have headaches. If you will eat properly you will feel energetic and
                you will be able to study properly.


                The meal which you are going to have for dinner should be the
                lightest one. But if you like to study during night time then you can
                eat a heavy meal. I usually eat heavy meals at night because of my
                routine—I record my lectures in the afternoon and I have to keep my

                stomach empty. I cannot speak a lot if my stomach is full. Therefore,
                I eat light lunch and heavy dinners.
                You should not eat salad with your food—you must eat it before the
                meal because salads are heavy. Salad contains roughages; it has
                cellulose and fibre, and if you consume it before the meal it will clear
                up the area right from the mouth to the big intestine, and when you
                eat your meal post salad, your meal will also get digested quickly.

                But if you eat salad after meal then it will not only settle above the
                food, but will also fasten the process of digestion. You may also
                experience stomach ache and acidity because of this. If you do not
                study at night then you must not keep a long interval between dinner
                and sleep. By doing so you can increase your efficiency as well as
                your active hours.


                You must never take stress or tension— higher stress level reduces
                your energy and you start feeling tired and sleepy. It could be
                possible that you have always been an average student in school—
                you never tried to become a topper in your examinations because
                you were happy to clear your examinations and get promoted to next
                class. You were content with being an average student, and hence
