Q. How do I get started with Carrot?
A. You can set up your account at app.get‑carrot.com/signup using your Rubrik email address to register and
log in. Your enrollment is kept anonymous and you can change your contact information at any time once
your account has been created. You’ll be asked to take a 2‑minute assessment, and then you’ll be ready to
explore your personalized Carrot program. Within the Carrot platform, you can read expert‑authored articles,
schedule appointments with Carrot Experts, or connect with the Care Navigation team to get answers to any
questions you might have.
Q. Can my spouse/partner use Carrot’s resources?
A. Absolutely! Since your Carrot benefit extends to your partner or spouse, they can utilize the same resources
that you have access to. The only catch is that if they wish to view our content or set up an Expert chat, they’ll
need to log in to your Carrot account. If they have questions and want Carrot to email them they can contact
Carrot from within your app or email Carrot directly
Q. Do I need a smartphone to use Carrot?
A. You can use Carrot on a smartphone, tablet, laptop, desktop, or any other internet‑enabled device.
Q. What kinds of experts can I talk to through Carrot?
A. Currently, members are able to speak with adoption experts, certified nurse midwives, doulas, fertility nurses,
legal experts, mental health professionals, naturopathic doctors, OB‑GYNs, pharmacists, reproductive
endocrinologists, and urologists. Carrot is always adding new Carrot Experts, too.
Q. How do I set up a virtual visit with a Carrot Expert?
A. After you log into your account, select “Talk to Carrot.” Next, select “Schedule a video chat or call.” After
selecting a topic, pick the time that works best for you.
Q. Will Carrot keep my information private?
A. Yes. Carrot takes your privacy very seriously and will never use your data without your consent. You can
check out their privacy policy for more information.
Q. Do I need an infertility diagnosis to use Carrot?
A. No, you do not need an infertility diagnosis to use Carrot.
Optional Life Insurance Options
Q. How much does the Optional Life Insurance cost?
A. Plan benefits and costs are outlined in detail in our U.S. Benefits Guide. Optional Life insurance costs are
paid on a post‑tax basis.
Q. What are my options for continuing my life insurance coverage after my employment ends?
A. Your group policy provides for the conversion of group life benefits to an individual life policy when your
group life benefits end or reduce. You will have 31 days to convert your life insurance coverage into an
individual policy. If your employment or membership in an eligible class ends while eligible life insurance
coverage with portability is in force, you may request the portability option, and your coverage will remain in
