CONTEST AWARDS
Because of the nature of their positions held, some team members from time to time
participate in contests promoted by Jim Peplinski Leasing, vehicle manufacturers or
other related automotive companies. Participation in any such promotion must be
previously approved by your manager/supervisor. In the event that a contest is won,
the participating team member(s) must confirm with their manager/supervisor that any
time away from their jobs required in order to claim the prize is suitable.

It is further understood that the team member is responsible for the taxable benefit
derived from such contests.

HEALTH & SAFETY

WORKING ALONE
In the event that a team member is required to work alone, Jim Peplinski Leasing is
committed to providing and maintaining procedures and equipment which promote a
safe and healthy work environment. Team members are required to follow these
practices when working alone:

 Inform someone else when you are working alone and let them know how long
you intend to be in that situation.
 If working alone requires meeting with clients, inform them of the presence
of other people nearby.
 When taking a client for a test drive, take a photocopy of their driver’s license
and leave it behind.

EMERGENCIES AND BUSINESS INTERRUPTIONS
In any emergency or business interruption, Jim Peplinski Leasing has a responsibility to
ensure the safety of its team members, clients and the public, and to manage
emergencies and business interruptions so as to minimize loss and inconvenience to all
concerned. Jim Peplinski Leasing’s Business Continuity Plan (BCP) addresses our
policy to provide for the continuity of business under conditions of unforeseen disaster.

In any emergency, the safety of team members, clients and visitors is the overriding
priority. The next priority is the protection and security of assets.

In the event of a public health quarantine, affected team members are required to
adhere to public health directives.

SECURITY OF PROPERTY AND THEFT
Preserving and safeguarding Jim Peplinski Leasing property and information is the
responsibility of each team member. Equipment, materials and supplies are
