Villa Vermonte – Guest Information
Pool Towels - 8 coloured pool towels are also provided and changed weekly. It helps to
keep the sun lounger cushions clean if you put the towels on these cushions.
Parasols -Three large parasols are provided for the pool terrace and it is essential you
close them down in windy weather as they can blow over and this will most likely break
the struts that support the fabric. There is a fourth parasol for the first floor terrace
where 4 more sun loungers are located. We also provide a smaller parasol in the pool
room for you to take to the beach – but please remember to return it.
Pool Glassware -There is a full set of top quality, dishwasher proof, plastic glassware
including beer, water and wine glasses in the kitchen cupboard and we would strongly
urge you to use this outside to avoid the breakage of glass around the pool.
Barbecue – The gas barbecue works off mains gas so
there is no need to check a gas bottle but please switch
the barbecue off when you have finished cooking.
Instructions for using the gas barbecue are in the
Appliances Manual in the kitchen. There are a full set of
barbecue tools in one of the lower drawers in the kitchen
also fish racks in the cupboard under the barbecue.
Pool maintenance - The pool is cleaned each week,
normally on Friday or Saturday, and takes approximately
30 minutes during which time the pool is closed. We
apologise for this inconvenience.
Due to evaporation in the summer months the level of water can fall but there is an
automatic pool filler that should top it up. If, due to windy weather, there is excess debris
in the pool please contact the pool cleaner. All pool equipment is pre-set so please do not
attempt to adjust any of it. If you are unhappy with any aspect of the pool, please
contact the pool cleaner.
Pool Do’s and Don’ts

yourself with the pool prior to use and in order to
enjoy the pool safely to the full we ask you to bear in
mind the following advice:
• NO DIVING PLEASE - These pools are not designed for diving and are generally not
deep enough.
• Please do not run around the pool area.
• Please be careful around the pool area as it can get slippery when wet.
• Please do not allow children wearing nappies in the pool.
• Please supervise children at all times especially non swimmers and ensure any
safety aids such as arm-bands and swimming rings are fully inflated and function
correctly.
• Please do not take glass or other breakables onto the pool area. Broken glass
cannot be seen in the water and will result in the pool having to be drained and
during this time the pool will not be usable for several days. Glass can also cause
