WISDOM AND SOUND ADVICE FROM THE TORAH

those who do evil, who speak cor dial ly with their neigh bors but
har bor mal ice in their hearts. Repay them for their deeds and for
their evil work; re pay them for what their hands have done and
bring back up on them what they de serve. Since they show no re -
gard for the works of the Lord... He will tear them down and nev -
er build them up again. Praise be to the Lord, for He has heard
my cry for mer cy. The Lord is my strength and my shield [my ];
my heart trusts in Him, and I am helped. My heart leaps for joy

and I will give thanks to Him in song. The Lord is the strength
of His peo ple... (Psalms, 28:1-8)
