Sing joy ful ly to the Lord, You right eous; it is fit ting for the up -
right to praise Him. Praise the Lord with the harp; make mu sic to
Him on the ten-stringed lyre. Sing to Him a new song; play skill -
ful ly, and shout for joy. For the word of the Lord is right and true;
And all His work is in faith ful ness. The Lord loves right eous ness
and jus tice; the earth is full of His un fail ing love. By the word
of the Lord were the heav ens made... He gath ers the wa ters of the
sea to geth er as a heap; He puts the deep in to store hous es. Let all
the earth fear the Lord; let all the peo ple of the world re vere
Him. For He spoke, and it came to be; He com mand ed, and it
stood firm. The Lord foils the plans of the na tions; He thwarts the
pur pos es of the peo ples. But the plans of the Lord stand firm for -
ev er... Blessed is the na tion whose God is the Lord... Lord... sees
all man kind... He Who forms the hearts of all, Who con sid ers
ev ery thing they do. No king is saved by the size of his ar my; no
war ri or es capes by His great strength. A horse is a vain hope for
de liv er ance; de spite all its great strength it can not save. But the
eyes of the Lord 15 are on those who fear Him, on those whose
hope is in His un fail ing love, to de liv er them from death and
keep them alive in fam ine. We wait in hope for the Lord; He is
our help and our shield [protector]. In Him our hearts re joice, for
we trust in His Holy name. May Your un fail ing love rest up on
us, O Lord, as we put our hope in You. (Psalms, 33:1-22)
