Consider the blame less, ob serve the up right; there is a fu ture for

the man of peace... The sal va tion of the right eous comes from
the Lord; He is their strength in the time of troub le. The Lord
helps them and de liv ers them; He de liv ers them from the wick -
ed and saves them, be cause they take ref uge in Him. (Psalms,
            37:1-40)

All my long ings lie open be fore you, O Lord; my sigh ing is not
hid den from you. I wait for you, O Lord; You will an swer, O
Lord my God. Those who re pay my good with evil slan der me
when I pur sue what is good... O Lord, do not for sake me; be not
far from me, O God. Come quick ly to help me, O Lord my savior.
            (Psalms, 38:9-22)

I said, "I will watch my ways and keep my tongue from sin...
" My sub stance is as noth ing be fore You. Each man's life is but a
breath. Truly, ev ery man goes on his way like an im age; he is
troub led for no pur pose: he makes a great store of wealth, and
has no knowl edge of who will get it. And now, Lord, what am I
wait ing for? My hope is in You. Make me free from all my sins...
tru ly ev ery man is but a breath. Hear my prayer O Lord, lis ten to

my cry for help... (Psalms, 39:1-12)

I wait ed pa tient ly for the Lord; and He in clined un to me, and
heard my cry. He brought me up al so out of the pit of de struc tion,
out of the miry clay; and He set my feet up on a rock, He es tab -
lished my go ings. And He put a new song in my mouth, even

praise un to our God; many shall see, and fear, and shall trust in
the Lord. Happy is the man who has faith in the Lord, and does
not give ho nour to the men of pride or to those who are turned
away to de ceit. Many things You have done, O Lord my God,
