            hid den from its heat. The law of the Lord is good, giv ing new life

            to the soul: the stat utes of the Lord are trust wor thy, mak ing wise
            the sim ple. The or ders of the Lord are right, mak ing glad the heart:
            the rule of the Lord is ho ly, giv ing light to the eyes. The fear of
            the Lord is clean, and has no end; the de ci sions of the Lord are
            true and full of right eous ness. More to be de sired are they than
            gold, even than much shin ing gold; sweet er than the drop ping
            hon ey. By them is Your ser vant made con scious of dan ger, and in
            keep ing them there is great re ward. Who has full knowl edge of his
            er rors? Make me clean from se cret evil. Keep Your ser vant back

            from sins of pride; let them not have rule over me: then will I be
            up right and in no cent from the great trans gres sion. Let the words
            of my mouth and the thoughts of my heart be pleas ing before
            You, O Lord, my strength and my sal va tion. (Psalms, 19:1-14)

            May the Lord an swer you when you are in dis tress... pro tect you.

            May He send you help... Some trust in char i ots, and some in hors -
            es; but we will make men tion of the name of God our God. They
            are bent down and made low; but we have been lift ed up... Lord...
            Answer us when we call! (Psalms, 20:1-9)


            The king will be glad in Your strength, O Lord... You have grant -
            ed him the de sire of his heart... You wel comed him with rich
            bless ings... For the king has faith in the Lord, and through the
            mer cy of the Most High he will not be moved... their thoughts were
            bit ter against You: they had an evil de sign in their minds, which
            they were not able to put in to ef fect... Be ex alt ed, O Lord, in Your
            strength; we will sing and praise Your might. (Psalms, 21:1-13)


            Our fa thers had faith in You: they had faith and You were their
            sav iour. They cried to You and were saved; they trust ed in You,
