The road notes for leaving Brighton have you following this instruction:

"at the next large roundabout take the first l. s/posted "Steyning / Henfield A283" onto Steyning
Rd."

Expert navigator check: Shortly after that roundabout you will pass underneath an overbridge
and then see a green and white sign on the l. that indicates Steyning 4 miles.

0.0 mi 50.8463, -0.2850 At the next roundabout take the 1st exit l. s/p "Horsham B282 / Steyning /
Bamber" and at the roundabout itself is a s/p "Horsham (A24) / Steyning / Bamber". That turn will
take you on to the Steyning Bypass.
