f. Material promoting a political candidate (see Employee Manual for rules on political
                         activity)

Employees are strongly encouraged to keep their email files small. All outdated/useless messages
should be deleted. Further, email should not be used as a filing system where employees keep
documents. Large documents sent to employees should be saved to a disk and the email deleted.

While Police FCU employees are permitted to use their email accounts for personal activities,
employees should keep in mind that having “Policefcu.org” attached to their message reflects on the
Credit Union. Any borderline jokes, inappropriate message, etc., should not be sent with your Police
              FCU account.

Many staff members have outside email accounts, such as Yahoo! Gmail, AOL, and Hotmail. It is
absolutely forbidden to open any attachments sent from an outside email account. Instead, forward
the attachment from your outside account to your Police FCU account so that our virus scanners can

ensure the file is clean. Employees are prohibited from using Facebook, MySpace, and You Tube
unless approved by senior management for Credit Union related business.

              World Wide Web
Police Federal Credit Union Employees should not use their work PCs to access inappropriate sites.

Examples of material considered inappropriate include pornography, illegal use of drugs, hate speech,
              gambling, etc.

Police FCU employees should not use RealAudio, RealVideo, or any other streaming program unless
approved by senior management for Credit Union related business.

              Laptop/Notebook Computers
The Police FCU IT Department takes extraordinary efforts to maintain network security. Laptops
represent a significant security threat to our network. Specifically, some virus /worms can "jump"
from an infected laptop to other Credit Union PCs. Working in tandem, these virus/worms can take
down our entire network. Because the IT Department cannot ensure that all laptop computers are
virus/worm free at all times, it is forbidden to ever plug your personal laptop into the Credit Union’s
network without IT knowledge and permission.

              Copyrighted Material
The Police Federal Credit Union staff shall respect all copyright laws. Specifically, it is prohibited to
download any music, movie, or other copyrighted material without paying compensation.
