If you are posting to an Official Police FCU Site, you must:
a. Not post or upload (A) any music or (B) post or upload pictures or videos of children who are
not Your children, unless you have received consent from the parents or legal guardians of the
children.
b. Be respectful of all Intellectual Property rights, including Police FCU’s, and abide by all
copyright, trademark, and other Intellectual Property laws. Unless You have obtained
permission from the owner of the Intellectual Property (including Police FCU), You must:
c. Not use or post any Intellectual Property, including but not limited to trademarks, logos,
designs, videos, or photographs (not excluded by subsection c, above), writings or sayings.
This specifically includes not posting pictures, images, writings or sayings of celebrities, sports
figures, cartoon characters and similar persons or characters.
If you are posting to an Official Police FCU site or any Non-Official Site, you must:
a. Not post Police FCU’s Sensitive, Confidential or Proprietary Information including any financial,
business or securities information.
b. Not post information obtained by your position as an employee, volunteer, or contractor at
Police FCU such as Personally Identifiable Information about any individual, or information
relating to customers or prospective customers, vendors, agents or business partners,
employees, or contractors.
c. Not present yourself as representing The Police Federal Credit Union in anyway unless You are
appointed as a Designated Spokesperson by the Police FCU President/CEO.
d. Not respond on behalf of The Police Federal Credit Union to any content about Police FCU on
a site, unless designated by the Information Technology Chief Executive or respond to any
media inquiries about Police FCU. You must direct any inquiries from media or journalists to
Police FCU’s Information Technology Chief Executive at tdoyle@Policefcu.org or
media.relations@Policefcu.org.
For example:
a. A group of Police FCU Employees setting up an external site cannot use Police FCU’s Logo on
its site or call themselves, for example, “The Police FCU Social Group” or “The Police FCU Bike
Club” or “The Police FCU Running Team”.
b. Not post or use any trademarks or logos of the Police Federal Credit Union unless authorized
in writing by the Information Technology Chief Executive or the President/CEO.
c. Not post comments that are offensive, obscene, derogatory or disparaging and that are based
on an individual’s sex, race, color, religion, age, national origin, marital status, ancestry, sexual
