EMPLOYEE BENEFITS
LIFE, MEDICAL, DENTAL, VISION, AND LONG-TERM
DISABILITY INSURANCE
Police FCU recognizes the value of benefits to employees and their families. The Credit Union supports
employees by offering a comprehensive and competitive benefits program.
All full-time exempt and non-exempt employees are eligible to participate in Police FCU’s benefits.
Part-time employees are not eligible for Police FCUs benefits that are offered to full time staff.
However, there may be certain benefits such as our 401(k) Retirement Program and Workers’
Compensation benefits that may apply to all workers.
Benefits are effective the date of hire and terminate on the last day of the month in which
employment ends. For more specific information regarding benefits and eligibility status, employees
should refer to the current year’s Benefits Plan Summary available in the HR Employee Documents
folder located on the P: Drive or through Human Resources. To the extent of the information provided
herein conflicts with the full plan document, the full plan document will control. Employees should
refer to the Summary Plan Description for official language.
Comprehensive information such as the type of benefits and cost of coverage will be made available
to each employee during orientation, eligibility date, open enrollment, or through Human Resources.
For all benefits listed below, there may be an employee contribution required to participate, and all
benefits are subject to change:
a. Life Insurance/AD&D Insurance;
b. Long Term Disability;
c. Health Insurance;
d. Dental Insurance;
e. Vision Insurance, or
f. Flexible Spending Accounts/Section 125 Plans.
