“Second, globalization has taken away the sanctity of workhours, especially in regional or
global roles; an office is always operating somewhere in the world 24x7! And while we are at
home, someone may be looking for our help somewhere in the company. And global calls are
always at an inconvenient time for one or the other region.”
“Third, technology has made work location-free; what was earlier confined to and had to
be completed only in the office, has now creeped into our homes. We no longer care if it is
unfinished in the office. In fact, we often shelve it for home.”
“Finally, our innate desire to be aware and on top of everything going on, keeps us watching
