The last thought brought some comfort and he relaxed. That is when he realized that he
was already in his driveway. He had not been conscious of the last 30 minutes – leaving office,
getting in the car, and driving home happened intuitively without real awareness.
He parked the car and walked inside through the garage door. Anne greeted him with a
huge smile.
