Reaching office on Monday morning, Dan found Tom waiting for him. He had requested

Tom to meet him before day-to-day routine caught up with them.

Although he had been noticing a change in Dan, Tom was still surprised when Dan greeted

him with uncharacteristic passionate enthusiasm.

“Hiii Tom. I hope you had a great weekend. Sorry that you had to wait.”

“Not a problem Dan,” is all Tom could say. He was still busy thinking about Dan’s changes

As they settled down, Dan asked, “how is Tara? Did she take the GRE test?

‘Family Talk! It is deeper than I had thought.’ Tom thought to himself.

“Thanks Dan. She is doing good. She chose to postpone GRE and her PG plans as we

have finally decided to start planning a family,” Tom said with hint of a smile.

“Wow! That is fantastic news.” Exclaimed Dan. “You will never regret this decision.

Bringing up a child is the most beautiful experience of life. Please tell Tara to call Betsy if she

needs any guidance or help.”

“Thanks Dan. Will do. What did you want to see me about?” Tom could no longer control

his curiosity about this meeting request from Dan.
