Introduction/Warm Up Aerobic warm up of large muscle groups and Equipment: Hula Hoop

This unit will focus on the following: Definitions (from dictionary.com)
Balance: an even distribution of weight enabling someone or something to
remain upright and steady. "she lost her balance and fell"
Today’s lesson will focus on balance and how our bodies can balance in
many different ways
Learning Activities/Teaching Strategies
1. Set up – Teacher will get things ready for the activity
2. Teacher Will Bring the Students from the class in a proper line taking Assessment Ideas:

3. Teacher will start the class with the warm up Happy Feet Skill and use of body parts
4. Teacher will introduce and explain the activity to the class After the B - loco/non loco motor movements and spatial awareness

5. Teacher will spread the hula hoop in different area with scarf inside. C – student’s experiencing Balance component of functional fitness
6. Teacher will ask the students to pick the scarf and do some loco motor D – student’s cooperation with partner during partner tasks
exercise like running and stepping inside the hoops, side to side jump, E – student’s ability to participate actively, willingly, and safely in
touching the ground inside hoop, forward and backward jump, leap over activities
jump, one leg hooping, spin as many time you can, jump through the
hoop, jump in hoop and pull it over, twirl it around your waist .
7. Teacher will now make use of both poly spot and hula-hoop and make
students do jumping running and exercise with the given equipment's.
Closure/Cool Down Review the activity and how our body can achieve
benefit in different ways
