We will also show you hands in a method called “strips”. These are in
Appendix 1. They are shown like this (Notice that we have shown the
same hand in three different ways) -

We suggest that you photocopy the page that you are interested in and
cut it vertically into 4 strips. Now put a pack of cards into the 4 suits. Give
your 3 friends a strip each and all take a different suit. Take the cards out
of the suit that you need and pass the others on clockwise. When you have
completed all 4 suits you will have the hand you want.
