13.5 Equal Opportunities
The Jurys Inn Team is made up of a
diverse group of people of
different ages, nationalities,
abilities and religions, we expect
individuals to be treated equally
during their dealings with the
Company.
Equal Opportunity Policy
13.6 Expense Claim
Some employees will need to purchase items or services for the business, this
policy explains how they will be reimbursed and the process to follow. When
you are traveling to a Training course your train or flight details should be
booked by the HR / Line Manager so that you do not incur costs and food is
provided at all training events.
13.7 Gifts and Gratuities
A gift is any goods or services that you
might be offered from a supplier or
customer that has a value of £100/ €150.
If you are offered a gift that reaches or
exceeds this value it must be declared on
the gift register. Please inform your Line
/ HR Manager.
Cash tips are normally allocated to the
individual who receives them from the
customer, it is the responsibility of the
employee to inform the HMRC.
Gratuities on credit cards or room charges
should have the employees name put on the
receipt and again each individual will
receive their own tips. These will be paid
in a timely manner via the employees
payroll.
Tips from groups should be treated like a room charge tip but split out to
all the employees involved with the group stay.
Please check what practice is followed in your property.
