Briefing at Institutions of Higher Learning
The NYAA Executive Director met the management
and leadership of Institutions of Higher Learning to
update, share new developments, and seek their
partnership and support. All the institutions we
visited were impressed with the youth leadership
development work of the NYAA. Many were
surprised that NYAA could track their former Senior Management of Temasek Polytechnic and Singapore
students’ development to this day. They were very Polytechnic.
grateful to NYAA for providing an update on the
alumni members who are doing well and serving in
leadership positions in the public and private sectors.
These briefings were extremely useful as they proved
that the NYAA can value-add and enhance the image
of their alumni members in Singapore and overseas.

The Institutions of Higher Learning involved in the
meetings were: ITE, Singapore Polytechnic, Temasek
Polytechnic, Nanyang Polytechnic, Ngee Ann
Polytechnic, Republic Polytechnic and the National
University of Singapore.

50th St. Gallen Symposium Singapore Hub
Appreciation Ceremony Senior Mangement of ITE.
The 50th St. Gallen Symposium Singapore Hub held
in Singapore from 5th to 7th May 2021 was a huge
success. The symposium was held outside Switzerland
for the first time since its establishment in 1970.

The students from ITE College West School of
Hospitality did Singapore proud with their excellent
service to the VIP guests at the physical dinner on 5
and 6 May 2021, held at UBS Campus.

The NYAA and St. Gallen Foundation organised an
Appreciation Ceremony in August 2021 to thank
the students and lecturers for their service and
contributions to the event’s success. Mr Beat Ulrich,
Chief Executive Officer of the St. Gallen Foundation, Selfie with Mr Ong Ye Kung, Minister for Transport at St.
