“That sucks,” Emilia said. “Have you decided to go
through with the epidural shot?”
“Still debating on it.”
“Natural birth is always better than placing a strong med-
ication in your body, but it’s your choice. I’ll be back to check
up on you in a second. Hopefully, you will give me your an-
swer by then to inform the doctor of your choice,” Nurse Wells
said. “And I know that you all have heard it over a thousand
times, but congratulations to each of you, and thank you for
making a bold stand for righteousness, Nurse Wells said. God
has a special assignment for each of you, young ladies as a
whole, and once you carry out his appointment, America will
not be the same.
“Thank you, we’re honored to be used by God,” Katey
said.
“Thank you,” Nurse Wells said as she walked out of the
delivery room.
“Have the contractions eased up any?” Samaria asked
as she embraced Emilia’s right hand.
“Actually, they’ve eased up completely. I prayed for
God to ease the pain of the contractions, and he did!” Emilia
said with a smile. “But my baby is still constantly moving.
“God heard your prayers,” Katey said.
Mr. Sanchez sat in the corner of the room, listening to
the latest news coming through his mobile phone. He gave his
full attention to the news that was being announced by the
anchor.
“Arrests are continuing all over America in our college
universities for rapes and domestic abuse that young ladies
are continuing to bring to the light,” the CNN anchor said.
“Turn that up, Hun,” Mrs. Sanchez said to Mr. Sanchez.
The anchor continued, “This all started a couple of weeks ago
at University of Florida with the protests held by hundreds of
