Figure 22 shows that R22 was motivated to improve his text. The figure
clearly shows that he followed his self-review. Also, he controlled the number
of words in the second draft. He revised the statement better to express his
feelings about the task set. He deleted and added several words to clarify his
position. The change demonstrates that the student could decide his level of
satisfaction with how he communicates his stance on an argument and that he
did not include the incorrect usage of the word "strengtheness." This
modification is more effective without altering the message. The work R22
performed to make his text better demonstrates how using SA in writing lessons
enhances language learners' writing skills.
In addition to SA, the students were assigned to peer assessment to
strengthen their knowledge of writing and develop their self-review/assessment
(Falchikov, 2007; Madya, 2022). The following picture demonstrates the PA
