Figure 23 displays how R42 revised her text based on the suggestion given by


                            her  peer  confidently.  Therefore,  in  this  study,  the  researcher  analyzed  the

                            students' text  performance  in  areas  of  characteristics  of argumentative text,

                            paragraph length, grammar accuracy, and spelling, because she could observe


                            the students' effort by seeing the trend index as empirical data.


                                     First,  the  researcher  examined  the  look  of  the  students'  arguing  text

                            concerning the features of the argumentative text in the rubrics. In this study,

                            she merely looked at whether the characteristics were present in their texts.


                            Each element received a binary code of "1" if it possessed any features and "0"

                            if  it  did  not.  She  did  not,  however,  assign  a  grade  to  the  substance  of  the


                            thoughts.
