With the egalitarian principle of Minang customs

which views the social status of humans as equal,
supporting education so that everyone really wants to

learn and master a field of science and not half-assed, so

that later they can become specialists in a particular
science. This is related to placement in the field of work

that is tailored to their respective fields. Minang proverb
                     states:

                                        Anjalai grows inwait,
sugi-sugi in a grove of rice,

                                        to be smart, diligent guru,

                                                                     71
I want to raise my mind high.
In education, it is necessary to have levels that

show that all knowledge starts from the basics to a
higher level. This does not mean ignoring one's desires

and talents. Which is stated in the customary proverb:
                                        Bajanjang goes up, Batanggo goes

                                down,

                                        rise from the ladder below,
down from the tango nan in ateh,

71 Idrus Hakimy, Mustika Series, p. 166, Meaning: Barley grows in
munggu, sugi-sugi in clumps of rice, so that you are good at studying
diligently, so that you can raise your mind high.
