7. For Employee and newly join employee with banking experience,
the period of work in banking industry shall be recognized and
counted as years of service to get annual leave.
8. If Employee wishes to take beyond the allowable limit, prior
approval from the Management is required.
9. Leave balance must be taken within the calendar year in which
the leave is earned and should all be spent at the latest by March
31 of the next calendar year.
10. If the Employee concerned does not make use of his/her leave
balance by March 31 after the leave is due, because of reasons
not specified or instructed by the Bank, then such right is
forfeited.
11. New Employee in probation period is not entitled to taking an
annual leave.
12. Upon the successful completion of his/her probation, his/her
leave entitlement shall be calculated from the first day of joining.
13. According to its purpose, annual leave cannot be exchanged or
traded for cash payment unless in the case of employment
termination upon the request of either the Employee or the Bank.
14. Employee who wishes to take his/her annual leave must apply
leave application through Human Resoure information system (HC
Plus) and obtain approval from his/her superior at the latest 1 day
before.
15. Should an employee wish to take a leave for at least 5 working
days or longer, he/she must apply leave application in Human
Resoure Information System (HC Plus) to obtain approval from
his/her superior 5 working days in advance.
16. Should an Employee take his/her leave without prior written
approval, then he/she will be considered taking sudden leave that
will affect his/her performance appraisal. Except in an emergency
situation and should not exceed 1 working day that is
unaccounted for, and supported with written evidence, such as
the death of a sibling, force majeur /natural disaster, responding
to an official call-up from a government institution.
