Article 23
Sick Leave
1. If an Employee is unable to be present at work due to illness or
when his/her sickness is considered contagious and/or may
endanger other Employees, he/she must inform his/her direct
supervisor or Human Resource division on the same working day
before 10:00 AM.
2. Sick leave is officially recognized upon the presence of the
following:
a. Sick-Leave Confirmation Letter signed by the Employee
concerned for a 1 day sick leave and acknowledged by
his/her direct supervisor. This is replaced by filling out
attendance confirmation provided by Human Resource (HR)
Division through Human Resource information system (HC
Plus).
b. Doctor's medical leave notification to an Employee should
he/she take 2 days sick leave or more.
3. If points a and b as mentioned above could not be fulfilled, then
such absence shall be considered as a leave which automatically
deducts Employee’s annual leave entitlement.
4. Employee who is not coming for work without any legitimate
reason shall be considered as being absent which automatically
deducts his/her annual leave entitlement.
Article 24
Pilgrimage Leaves (Haj)
1. Employeess are entitled to permission to leave work to perform
the pilgrimage while still receiving wages.
2. The timeframe for leaving work to perform the pilgrimage is
adjusted to the program taken by the Employees.
